A Five Week Series with Ron Ames

While we know that meditating daily makes our life better, it can be hard get a routine established. In this five week class you will learn how to create your own daily practice by learning to to sit with proper posture and use the first foundation of mindfulness. We will investigate techniques to make our practice more powerful and bring awareness to our experiences both on and off the cushion.  

The course study will include: The Three Refuges, The Precepts, The Hindrances and how to use ritual to inspire dedication and joy.

This class is designed for beginners and intermediate practitioners alike. All are welcome. 

Ron Ames is a meditation practitioner who has studied with both Noah Levine and Trudy Goodman. He is currently a member of Spirit Rock’s Dedicated Practitioner’s Program. He was trained as a teacher by Noah Levine in Against the Stream’s first teacher training cohort. Ron has a deep interest in the Twelve Steps particularly as they relate to meditation practice. He works in the film industry as a Producer and 1st Assistant Director on feature films.
