Dharma Dialogues

Practical Wisdom in Precarious Times

with Catherine Ingram

Seven Tuesdays Starting January 12, 2016

Santa Monica

Catherine’s events are a form of interactive meditation in that she gives a short talk and then opens up to one-on-one dialogues with whoever feels inclined to speak. Each interaction is designed to induce present awareness and a letting go of unnecessarily troubling thoughts. These sessions, which she has led internationally since 1993 “are a context in which we look at any of life’s experiences—love, work, loss, death–through the lens of understanding with no attempt to transcend them using spiritual jargon or belief. You are welcome to join us for any or all evenings to explore the most fierce and complex aspects of existence from the calm and simple quiet of the heart.

“Wise, deep inquiry with a loving heart.” – Jack Kornfield

“She is wise and insightful, holding the teachings with a depth of understanding and a great lightness of spirit.” – Joseph Goldstein

“She combines fierce intelligence with heartfelt compassion.” – Sharon Salzberg

“Move over Rumi and Hafiz. There’s a new kid in town.” – Moon Zappa

This class is drop in and offered with a suggested $15-$20 donation; no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. All levels of practitioner are welcome
