Join your fellow Against the Stream sangha members at Heal the Bay’s June “Nothin’ But Sand” Beach clean up. We will meet up at Venice Beach as a group at 9:30 am and clean the beach to help make the ocean safe and clear for all to enjoy. Volunteers must be 13 years old OR be accompanied by an adult so bring the entire family.

What to expect: We will be walking up and down the beach for two hours picking up trash and recyclables. There may be some separating or sorting. A backpack is recommended to carry water or snacks. There is no secure storage available.

Time: 9:30 am to noon. Clean up begins at 10 am.

Location: Venice Pier (3100 Ocean Front Walk. At the end of Washington Blvd) Look for the ATS social committee members in ATS T-shirts.

Waiver: Sign waiver form (download from website below) and bring it with you to the event. All volunteers have to have this form signed before we can register at 9:45 am.

Dress to Impress and comfortably: Wear your ATS T-shirts and jackets and comfortable shorts/pants and closed toe shoes. If you are allergic to latex, you might want to bring your own gloves. Sunscreen and hat – recommended.
