Make Peace With Your Mind
How Mindfulness and Compassion Can Help Free You From the Inner Critic
A Half Day Workshop with Mark Coleman
February 5, 2017
9am – 12pm
Do you experience the painful negative effects of self-judgment that tells you are never good enough, not quite right, always falling short of some high standard. Dharma teachings provide clear instructions how to bring mindfulness and compassion to the causes of suffering. Given how much pain self judgment and judging others causes it is essential we bring our practice to understand and liberate this pattern.
This workshop will be an exploration of working with the inner critic based on Mark’s new book – Make Peace With Your Mind – How mindfulness and compassion can help free you from the inner critic. It will be practical and experiential, taught with clarity, compassion and humor and the need to not take ourselves too seriously! Mark will share experiential exercises and meditations to help you transform the judging mind and find peace and well being.
Cost: Sliding Scale: $25-$60 and the offering of dana to the teacher. Please click here for information on the tradition of dana. Scholarships and work-study are available. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
