A One Day Retreat with Noah Levine

This day of meditation practice, teachings and discussion will focus on the theme of loving-kindness. We will spend the day in sitting and walking meditation cultivating an attitude and feeling of friendliness and good-will towards ourselves and others.
In-depth guidance and instructions will be offered. Open to all levels of experience.

Cost: Sliding scale of $40-$75, plus dana for the teacher. Please pay at the highest level you can afford to help support our scholarship funds. Scholarships and work study are available and no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Noah Levine, author of Dharma Punx, Against the Stream, and The Heart of the Revolution is a Buddhist teacher, author and counselor. He was trained to teach by Jack Kornfield of Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA, and holds a Masters degree in counseling psychology. Noah is the founding teacher of Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society, with a center in Los Angeles and over 20 affiliated groups around North America. He teaches meditation classes, workshops and retreats internationally. He is also on the board of directors of the Buddhist Recovery Network.
