Self-Sabotage, Self-Criticism and the Trance of Powerlessness

A Half-Day with Caitriona Reed

Saturday March 22, 2014

1:00pm – 4:00pm

“You Can’t!   You won’t!   Who do you think you are anyway!”

Everyone speaks to themselves more harshly than they would ever speak to anyone else.
And we are all capable of blocking our own best interest even though we know not to.

There are a million ways to sabotage yourself:

  • with negative beliefs
  • with limiting decisions made years ago
  • with emotional triggers lurking below the threshold of conscious awareness
  • with an inner critic that says things you’d never say to your worst enemy

We’re usually not aware of any of it until it’s too late. How many ways are there to shoot yourself in the foot? Most people make it the habit of a lifetime .. unless they learn to stop! For most people it takes more than mindfulness or therapy to change those habits rapidly and permanently, because they lie outside conscious awareness.

Join Caitrìona to learn how to silence the inner critic and start talking to yourself in ways that moves you towards wholeness. Learn skills to help you cut through the hidden layers to change deep patterns at the source? You don’t need any prior experience of NLP, meditation, hypnosis, or therapy; just a willingness to learn and have fun, and a belief that rapid, permanent change IS possible.

Bring a notebook, a pen, and an open mind.

Cost: Sliding Scale $25-$50 for the workshop. Scholarships and work-study are available. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
