Connect and Sustain – A weely relational mindfulness group

with Pablo Das

“Vulnerable is the new strong”

The vision of Connect and Sustain is to take the idea of “refuge in community” seriously. In this ongoing weekly class we explore the Buddha’s teachings through the lens of relational mindfulness practice. The C&S model creates a context in which the connection and intimacy that is so central to the spiritual path can occur. Each week offers us not only the opportunity to practice together but also to report about our lives in an authentic way while being witnessed in community. There are periods of sitting, a talk and relational mindfulness practices. Each month we explore a particular Buddhist theme. Connect and Sustain is more than a class, it’s a tribe. Come be seen! $20 suggested donation.

Sunday Night Dharma Den

The Pali word for “community” is “sangha.” Sangha is one of the most important components of our practice. The spiritual path is one that requires support, encouragement, and connection. Dharma Den was started several years ago as a class that promotes sangha. We come together around a common purpose; one of suffering less, increasing insight, promoting kindness, and finding authenticity. Come join us for 30 minutes of guided meditation, followed by a brief talk and group discussion.
