Join us for a meditation and Dharma talk with Zen priest and bestselling author Brad Warner who will discuss 13th century Zen Buddhist scholar and author Eihei Dōgen’s teachings on the middle way and will explore his views on a wide range of topics from feminism to reincarnation to the debate between science and religion. These are the themes of Brad’s new book Don’t Be a Jerk, which paraphrases Dōgen’s Buddhist classic work The Shōbōgenzō: The True Treasury of the Dharma Eye for modern times.

COST: This is a dana-based (donation) evening with a suggested donation of $15. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Brad Warner is the author of Don’t Be a Jerk and numerous other titles including Sit Down & Shut Up, Hardcore Zen, and Zen Wrapped in Karma Dipped in Chocolate.
