The Buddha’s Path to Happiness: A Six Week Series
The Buddha’s Eightfold Path is a practical and dependable path from suffering to happiness. When we are mindful of the Eight Path Factors in our daily life and in our meditation practice we have the necessary teachings for transformation and liberation.
The Eightfold Path includes Wise Understanding, Wise Intention, Wise Speech, Wise Action, Wise Livelihood, Wise Effort, Wise Mindfulness and Wise Concentration. The Buddha, in a way that is very accessible and useful, describes each path factor as an essential aspect of a harmonious life. When we are mindful of the path teachings, we can navigate towards wisdom, compassion, and freedom.
Each class meeting will include meditation instructions, teachings, group discussion and practical suggestions for daily life practice.
