Personal and Boundless Loving Kindness

Loving kindness has personal and boundless facets. When we cultivate it
personally, we bring loving kindness directly to our body, emotions, mind
states and relationships. Knowing unconditioned love is an access point to
let go of a solid self-nature. When we do that we let go of boundaries that
keep us feeling separate. Our fears that we will lose our personal love
relationships release. We stop believing the stories we tell ourselves about
who and what we are. The myths that we are undeserving and essentially
unlovable fall away. In this openness, the heart natural response is to feel
and let love in.
The program will focus on the following:
▪ Establishing refuge in what is timeless, pervasive and ever-present
▪ Establishing integrity as container for meditation and daily life
▪ Relaxing your body
▪ Generating loving kindness
▪ Accessing pervasive awareness/love
▪ Making good use of supportive community
▪ Daily life applications
Suitable for new and experienced meditators.
COST: Sliding Scale: $35 – $75, plus an offering of DANA to the teacher. Please pay at the highest level you can afford to support our programs and pay it forward for those who have less. Scholarships and work-study are available. No is turned away for lack of funds.

Amma Ṭhanasanti is the founder and Spiritual Director of Awakening Truth. She is a California born spiritual teacher dedicated to serving all beings. She has been committed to awakening since she first encountered the Dharma in 1979. As a former Buddhist nun of 26 years, she combines the precision and rigor of the Ajahn Chah Forest Tradition and a passion for wholeness. Amma has been teaching intensive meditation retreats worldwide since 1996.
