Refuge Recovery and Feeding Your Demons
March 3 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm PST
An event every day that begins at 10:00am, repeating until March 4, 2018
A WEEKEND WITH NOAH LEVINE AND LOPÖN CHANDRA EASTON
This is a unique opportunity to practice and learn two of the best known western Buddhist methods for working
with challenges in our lives: Refuge Recovery and Feeding Your Demons®. These methods are effective with
addiction, eating disorders, grief, relationship issues, financial fears, or depression. The Buddhist path for treating
addiction is one of developing a friendship with the ‘problem’ through wisdom and compassion, which is done
through the practices of meditation, renunciation and wise actions such as service, making amends, forgiveness
and generosity. Feeding Your Demons® is a five-step process for meeting and nurturing the needs that lie beneath
our so-called ‘demons.’ It has proven to be highly effective with addiction, PTSD, anxiety, and other emotional
issues. Buddhism offers a non-theistic spiritual path, perfect for the discerning agnostic/atheist addict. Refuge
Recovery is a program that can be worked in conjunction with or as an alternative to the Twelve Step Programs.
This event is intended and designed to be done as a whole weekend. If you are only able to attend one day, you may register for Saturday only. Sunday only is not an option as you would miss the entire first half and would be coming into the space not with the rest of the group.
COST: Sliding Scale: $75 – $150, plus an offering of DANA to the teacher. Please pay at the highest level you can afford to support our programs and pay it forward for those who have less. Scholarships and work-study are available. No is turned away for lack of funds.
